The study of the relationship between social capital and mental disorders in children and adolescents in Kohgiloyeh and Boyer Ahmad province, Iran

Background and aims: Social capital, by encouraging people to collaborate engage in social interactions, has been considered as an effective factor for development of mental disorders. In the preset study, we aimed investigate relationship between different aspects capital psychiatric disorders children adolescents. Methods: This study was conducted 2016 2017 Kohgiloyeh Boyer-Ahmad province, Iran. A total 1001 adolescents aged 6-18 years their parents were randomly selected using multistage cluster sampling participate study. The data present compiled a Persian translated version Kiddie-SADS-Present Lifetime Version (K-SADS-PL) semi-structured questionnaire well Capital Questionnaire Nahapiet Ghoshal. raw analyzed statistically Fisher chi-square tests. statistical analysis performed SPSS 16.0 version. Results: Our results show that better relationship, cooperation, mutual understanding, commitment are significantly inversely correlated among this regard found understanding (P=0.008) relationships (P=0.001) strongly related while other components may have more or less effects.
